For the first video in our electronics tutorial series, we introduce one of the simplest-to-use components: the operational amplifier (AKA op amp). Op amps, while they are not a discrete electronic component (i.e. they are made up of several transistors), offer a quick and easy solution to many problems related to electrical engineering. In addition, learning how to analyze op amps sets the foundation for analyzing more complex circuits in the future.
